Privacy Protection of Personal Information
Your Personal Information - We take the protection of your
personal and private information very seriously. Because of
our strong focus on protection, we have put in place some very strict
guidelines and processes to insure that your rights to privacy are
protected.
Storage - Once client information is received, it is scanned
into our secure database then it is stored in our secure filing room
and not accessed until the case is being closed.
Access - Only authorized case managers and underwriting
personnel have access to personal information regarding our clients.
No third parties or unauthorized personnel in our office may view,
copy, or request any personal information on our clients or the
financial professionals that represent them.
Transfer of Information - There are only two reasons for us to
transfer information regarding our clients at all. The first being to
our funding sources so they can review the case and place bids. The
second is to our third party underwriters who review client
information to determine the health status and mortality of our
clients. Any information that is transferred is password protected to
protect all of the client's information.
A QUICK NOTE: When we start the bidding process on your case,
we do not send your case to every company in the entire industry.
Instead we send it to companies that we know will pay the most
available now in the industry. Also we do not try to obtain bids from
companies that do not have the money in hand. Ideal makes sure that
when you accept your offer, the money is available and we will even
prove it via the escrow agent after the contracts have been received
by the escrow company. So in working with Ideal, you get privacy of
your information, real money offers, and quick cases closings.
All of third party underwriters, funding sources, and other affiliated
organizations are regularly audited to assure they are complying to
the standards required under the Health Insurance Portability
Accountability Act of 1996.
